WHY VOTE YES

ELECTION DAY • APRIL 1

FIVE REASONS TO VOTE YES

#1 — Strengthen Our Community

Investing in our schools is investing in our community. Strong schools help maintain property values, attract families, and help make Troy, St. Jacob and Marine thrive. When we come together to support education, we build a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come.

#2 — Enhance Safety, Security, and Accessibility in Our Schools

Every child deserves to learn in a safe and secure environment. This proposal includes vital upgrades to all district facilities such as updating security systems, improved accessibility for students with disabilities, and essential infrastructure improvements. Ensuring our schools meet today’s safety and accessibility standards helps protect our students, teachers and staff.

#3 — Address Outdated Facilities

Many of our schools were built decades ago and are no longer equipped to meet the educational needs of today’s students. Aging buildings like Triad Middle School require costly repairs and ongoing maintenance, straining district resources. By replacing the middle school and renovating facilities at Marine Elementary and Triad High School, we ensure students have access to high-quality learning environments without excessive future costs.

#4 — Smart Financial Planning

This bond proposal is a cost-effective solution that prioritizes responsible fiscal management. Using this zero-rate-change bond, we can make these necessary improvements without increasing the tax burden on residents. Investing in our schools now prevents more expensive repairs and overcrowding issues in the future.

#5 — Preparing Our Students for Today’s World

Education is evolving, and our students need access to updated classrooms, technology, and specialized learning spaces. This bond proposal will fund enhancements to Career Technical Education programs, labs, and collaborative learning environments that equip students with the skills they need to succeed in higher education and the workforce.
